Marathon/miniMarathon Spectator Tips
- Start and Finish Line in Downtown, Louisville, KY. Enjoy the festivities, send off your family and friends and greet them as they complete their 13.1 or 26.2 mile journey.
- Short walk from downtown hotels and night entertainment.
- Opening Ceremonies begin at 7:00 AM
- Start of the Race: 7:30 AM
- Finish Line Closes: 1:30 PM
- Enjoy breakfast at Kroger's Fest-A-Ville on the Waterfront starting at 7:30 AM (admission FREE until 11 AM).
- Reunite with your runner on the North Great Lawn.
- Find the location of your runner at Runner Information at the Finish Line.
- See your runner at various locations throughout the route:
- Start Line
- Mile 7 - Entering Churchill Downs (4th and Central Ave.)
- Mile 8 - Exiting Churchill Downs (3rd and Central Ave.)
- Mile 17 - Coming from Iroquois Park (3rd and Central Ave.)
