Is your organization or marching band interested in participating in one of the nation's most renowned parades?  If so, then we invite you to apply for participation in the Republic Bank Kentucky Derby Festival Pegasus Parade, which will be held on Thursday, April 29th, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. (EDT).

Applications for Marching Bands, Equestrian Units and Specialty Units MUST be completed in full to be considered for acceptance into the Pegasus Parade, and MUST be submitted no later than January 4, 2010. Early applicants get first consideration.

The Pegasus Parade is made up of a variety of different types of units. Please read below to determine which type of unit best describes your group. Click on the highlighted unit type for an application. All applying participants in the Parade must be 14 years of age or older and units must be able to supply proof of insurance and any other requested information.
     Bands: Pegasus Parade Band units are organized High School or College bands. If you have a band unit not affiliated with a College or High School please see the Specialty units below.
     Equestrian Units: Equestrian units are any unit comprised of horses. Units may are made up of individual riders, horse hitches, multi horse units, or a mix of walkers and riders.
     Specialty units: A specialty unit is any type of unit other than bands, equestrians, and clowns, listed above. These units are usually comprised of dance groups, small band units, creative school groups, or any other type of unit you can come up with to represent your organization.
