Enjoy a great family event on the waterfront. Family activities will be programmed throughout the day, including an inflatable playground, rock-climbing wall, bungee trampoline, carousel and more.
Christian Rock band Building 429, honored as New Artist of the Year by the Gospel Music Association in 2005, will headline the Derby Festival Celebration Sunday concert on Sunday, April 25, at Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.
Building 429, whose name was inspired by a Biblical passage, hit the charts in 2004 with the song "Glory Defined," which remained no. 1 on Christian Radio Weekly's AC chart for 10 consecutive weeks, claiming the spot faster than any single in the history of the publication. The group also received four Dove Award nominations in 2005.
The Booth Brothers will open the evening of musical entertainment at 5 PM, followed by Mile 7 at 6:30 PM and Building 429 at 7 PM. Admission is a 2010 Pegasus Pin.
