In celebration of the Derby Museum's 25th Anniversary, the museum is undergoing an extensive renovation.  Join the museum for their Grand Re-Opening Celebration on April 18th. 

The festivities kick off at NOON with live entertainment by  Shade of Grass, local favorite Brigid Kaelin and the UofL Band.  There will be Derby trivia on the main stage hosted by FOX 41 personalities.  Pony rides, crafts and games for the kids.

The ribbon cutting for the re-opening will be held at 2 p.m. Enjoy a hat contest open to the public, Brown Forman's master mixologist with modern twists on the mint julep, showings of "The Greatest Race" and tours of the track.

Entry is free with a 2010 Derby Festival Pegasus Pin until close (6:00 p.m.)
