Pegasus Pin Sponsorship Grand Prize Drawings



The Kentucky Derby Festival Pegasus Pin Sponsorship Grand Prize Drawings will be held on WAVE 3 TV broadcasts beginning Thursday, May 10, (excluding Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13). Winners will be posted online at PegasusPins.com and contacted following each drawing. To be eligible for the grand prize drawings, Gold Instant Win Pins must be registered no later than 5 PM, Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

This year, inside each pin envelope is a membership card with a "scratch-off" bar that hides a unique 12-digit alphanumeric code.  Pin purchasers will use this code to register online at www.pegasuspins.com.

The Pegasus Pin is the community's primary way to support Derby Festival events.  Revenue generated from the pins helps to underwrite (along with corporate sponsorship) the many free events of the not-for-profit Derby Festival, such as Thunder Over Louisville, Republic Bank Pegasus Parade, Kroger's Fest-a-Ville and the Chow Wagon and the U.S. Bank Great BalloonFest. The Kentucky Derby Festival, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit civic organization that must raise all its funds privately to produce the annual three-week slate of more than seventy events.  In addition to support from corporate sponsorship and merchandising royalties, the community actually helps produce the events it enjoys through personal contributions with the Pegasus Pin Program.
