Derby Festival Yard Sale Set for June 12-13

The Kentucky Derby Festival will hold its annual Yard Sale on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, at the Derby Festival office, 1001 South Third Street in Old Louisville. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Items for sale will include t-shirts, sweatshirts, past Derby Festival posters, glasses, used office equipment and miscellaneous merchandise.

The Derby Festival Pin Trailer will feature corporate and event pins, as well as balloon pins from 1989 to 2005. All pins will be offered at discount prices, with purchasers of more than $25 in the "Special Pin Area" only receiving a special gift. The commemorative ornament from Radko,  "Belle of Louisville," will also be available for $30.

Purchases made online at www.kdf.org will be discounted by 50 percent. This is the eighth consecutive year for the KDF Yard Sale. The event typically attracts large crowds on both days, so patrons are encouraged to come early and pick up some great items at very reasonable prices.
