Derby Festival Yard Sale Set for June 25-26

The Derby Festival will hold its annual Yard Sale on Friday, June 25, and Saturday, June 26, at the Festival office at 1001 South Third Street in Old Louisville. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Items for sale will include event T-shirts ($3 each or 2 for $5), past Derby Festival posters for $15, Thunder Over Louisville posters for $5, post cards for $2, glasses and miscellaneous merchandise.
The Derby Festival Pin Wagon will feature 2010 metal event and balloon pins, as well as plastic pins from 1973-2010. There will also be a Special Pin Room open at the Festival Office with metal event, balloon and corporate pins from 1989 to 2009 available at greatly reduced prices.
Three editions of the Radko holiday ornaments - "A Good Foundation," "Eight Belles" and "Bell of Louisville" - will be offered for $20 apiece (the ornaments typically retail from $50 to $65).
Purchases made online at www.derbyfestival.org will be discounted by 50 percent.
This is the ninth consecutive year for the KDF Yard Sale. The event typically attracts large crowds, so patrons are encouraged to come early and pick up some great items at very reasonable prices. A lunchtime special of a hot dog, soft drink and chips will be offered for $3. Cash and credit cards will be accepted for purchases.
