Vincenzo's Hosts KDF Foundation Dinner This Weekend

The Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation - the Derby Festival's charitable arm - will hold a fund-raising dinner on Sunday, June 27, at Vincenzo's Italian Restaurant, 150 South Fifth Street. The event, which will begin at 6 p.m., will feature cooking demonstrations, recommendations on wine pairings, dinner prepared by Vincenzo's chefs and entertainment.
"We're very excited about this new fund-raiser," said Wendy Jacob, Chair of the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation. "It will be an evening of great food and drink, as well as an opportunity to learn about Italian cooking techniques and the recommended wine pairings that go with different dishes. Vincenzo Gabriele is really going all out to make this a memorable evening for everyone. It promises to be a lot of fun and it's all for a great cause."
Tickets for the event are still available. Tickets cost $150 per person or $1,500 for a corporate table of 10. Dress is business casual. All proceeds will benefit the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation. For tickets, or more information, call the Derby Festival office at (502) 584-FEST.
The Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation, a 501 C 3 not-for-profit charity, receives and manages charitable contributions on behalf of the Kentucky Derby Festival, Inc., its supporters and the general public. The Foundation perpetuates the Festival's impact on the community by developing projects that highlight the Festival's influence on the area's cultural heritage. It works to further the Festival's educational and charitable mission through exhibitions and performances.
